PGT Chemistry Teacher

Bharathidhasanar Group of Schools is looking for a passionate, experienced, and dedicated Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) – Chemistry to join our academic team. The ideal candidate should have strong subject knowledge, excellent laboratory skills, and the ability to prepare students for Board Examinations.

Key Responsibilities

- Teach Chemistry for Grades XI & XII as per the prescribed curriculum.
- Plan and deliver engaging, concept-based, and application-oriented lessons.
- Prepare students effectively for Board Examinations and competitive examinations.
- Conduct Chemistry practical classes and guide students in laboratory activities.
- Develop students' analytical, numerical, problem-solving, and scientific reasoning skills.
- Teach Physical, Organic, and Inorganic Chemistry effectively.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, question papers, and assessment materials.
- Conduct regular assessments and provide constructive feedback.
- Use smart-class resources, digital tools, simulations, and innovative teaching methodologies.
- Ensure proper laboratory safety and responsible handling of chemicals and equipment.
- Encourage students to connect Chemistry concepts with real-life applications.
- Maintain accurate academic records, attendance, and assessment reports.




- Mentor students and provide additional academic support where required.
- Communicate professionally with parents regarding student progress.
- Participate in school events, academic activities, meetings, and professional development programmes.
- Collaborate with colleagues and school management to maintain high academic standards.

Eligibility

- M.Sc. Chemistry / M.Sc. in relevant Chemistry discipline
- B.Ed. is mandatory
- Minimum 3–5 years of teaching experience preferred.
- Experience teaching CBSE/Matriculation higher secondary classes will be an advantage.
- Strong laboratory knowledge and practical-handling skills.
- Excellent communication, classroom management, and student-engagement skills.
