We are looking for an experienced SAP Solution Manager – ChaRM Consultant with 7–8 years of hands-on experience in SAP Solution Manager, particularly in Change Request Management (ChaRM), Change Control Management (CCM), Document Management, Service Desk, and Solution Documentation (SOLDOC).

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in end-to-end ChaRM implementation, configuration, transport management, managed system configuration, and Solution Manager governance processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Implement and manage SAP Solution Manager ChaRM processes end-to-end.
- Configure logical components and solutions according to the SAP landscape.
- Create and manage Phase Cycles and Continuous Cycles.
- Schedule and monitor import jobs in managed systems.
- Perform Managed System Configuration, LMDB, and SLD activities.
- Configure and customize ChaRM statuses using Action Profiles, Condition Profiles, and Formulas.
- Implement and maintain Solution Documentation (SOLDOC) end-to-end.
- Configure and support integration with CTS+, QGM, and other SAP Change Management tools.
- Manage Transport Requests (TRs), Transport of Copies (TOCs), and Transport Routes within ChaRM.
- Configure and manage roles, authorizations, and profiles for ChaRM users.
- Develop and maintain ChaRM reports, dashboards, KPIs, and monitoring processes.
- Troubleshoot ChaRM issues by analysing logs, debugging workflows, and identifying root causes.
- Perform pre- and post-upgrade ChaRM activities, including resolving upgrade-related issues.
- Prepare SOPs, technical documentation, process documents, and user guides.
- Conduct user training and knowledge-transfer sessions on ChaRM processes.




- Define and implement Solution Manager governance processes and deployment procedures.

Mandatory Skills

- 7–8 years of experience in SAP Solution Manager.
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP Solution Manager ChaRM.
- Experience with Change Request Management (CRM) and Change Control Management (CCM).
- Experience in Document Management and Solution Documentation (SOLDOC).
- Experience with Service Desk and Business Process Monitoring.
- Knowledge of Project Definition, Blueprint Nodes, and Template Management.
- Strong understanding of LMDB and SLD.
- Experience with Action Profiles, Condition Profiles, and Formulas.
- Hands-on experience with Transport Requests, TOCs, and Transport Routes.
- Experience with CTS+ and QGM integration.
- Strong troubleshooting and issue-resolution skills.
- Good understanding of ChaRM authorization and role management.
- Ability to develop governance processes, procedures, and deployment standards.

Preferred Skills

- SAP Solution Manager upgrades and patch management.
- ChaRM reporting and KPI dashboards.
- Experience in enterprise SAP landscapes.
- Robust documentation and communication skills.
- Experience conducting user training and knowledge-transfer sessions.

Candidate Profile

Candidates should have strong hands-on expertise in SAP Solution Manager ChaRM configuration and administration, along with a good understanding of SAP transport management and governance processes. Experience working on end-to-end ChaRM implementations and large SAP landscapes will be preferred.
