Role Overview:
Looking for a hands-on Senior AI Search Engineer to build and deliver enterprise-grade AI-powered search solutions. The role focuses on Elasticsearch, RAG pipelines, semantic search, LLM applications, and agentic AI workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and build scalable data ingestion pipelines into Elasticsearch
- Integrate data from SharePoint, Liferay, Data Lakes, databases, web sources, etc.
- Build batch, incremental and near-real-time indexing pipelines
- Develop hybrid search using BM25 + vector/semantic search
- Implement query rewriting, query expansion, multi-query and contextual retrieval
- Build and optimize end-to-end RAG pipelines
- Develop agentic AI workflows with tool/function calling and multi-step retrieval
- Implement embeddings, re-ranking, cross-encoders and relevance optimization




- Ensure security-aware search and permission-based content retrieval
- Integrate commercial/open-source LLMs and AI services
- Work with document processing, chunking, metadata enrichment and vector embeddings

Must-Have Skills:
Elasticsearch – Query DSL, BM25, indexing, analyzers, shard strategy & performance tuning
Solid RAG / Generative AI experience
Agentic AI / Tool Calling / Function Calling
Python
Vector & Semantic Search
Embedding & Re-ranking Models
LangChain / LlamaIndex / Haystack or equivalent
LLMs – Azure OpenAI / OpenAI / Gemini / Claude / Llama / Mistral, etc.
Enterprise search / knowledge management experience

Good to Have:

- React or equivalent frontend experience
- OpenSearch / Azure AI Search
- SharePoint / Liferay / Azure Data Lake integrations
- Search relevance evaluation – Precision, Recall, NDCG

Pay: ₹130,000.00 - ₹150,000.00 per month
