TGT English – Job Description

Position: Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) – English
School: Delhi Public School, Indira nagar
Grade Level: Classes VI–VIII

Key Responsibilities:

- Teach English language and literature to students of Classes VI–VIII.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, worksheets, and assessments.
- Develop students’ reading, writing, speaking, listening, grammar, and vocabulary skills.
- Conduct regular tests, evaluate student performance, and maintain academic records.
- Provide remedial support and enrichment activities based on students’ learning needs.
- Encourage participation in debates, discussions, creative writing, and other language activities.
- Maintain classroom discipline and create an engaging, inclusive learning environment.




- Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues regarding student progress.

Eligibility:

- Bachelor’s degree in English from a recognized university.
- B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification.
- CTET/TET qualification, where applicable.
- Robust command of spoken and written English.
- Relevant teaching experience is preferred.

Key Skills:

- Excellent communication and classroom-management skills.
- Strong knowledge of English grammar and literature.

NOTE: The salary offered will be based on your current salary

Pay: Up to ₹35,000.00 per month
