Chief Financial Officer (CFO) – Key Responsibilities
1. Lead the Company's financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and costing processes to support sustainable business growth and profitability.
2. Prepare comprehensive financial plans for the Company as a whole and on a project-to-project basis, including capital investment planning and working capital management.
3. Develop long-term financial strategies aligned with the Company's business objectives and expansion plans.
4. Manage cash flow, liquidity, and working capital to ensure productive utilization of financial resources.
5. Oversee treasury operations, including banking relationships, fund management, export and import finance, and foreign exchange exposure.
6. Lead resource mobilisation initiatives through
a) Equity
b) Debt
· Project Finance
· Working Capital
7. Drive fundraising activities to support business expansion, capital expenditure, acquisitions, and strategic projects.
8. Evaluate investment opportunities and assess project feasibility, financial viability, and return on investment.
9. Oversee the preparation and presentation of accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
10. Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements, including GST, Income Tax, Companies Act, and other applicable financial laws.
11. Lead and coordinate statutory audits, internal audits, tax audits, cost audits, and ensure timely closure of audit observations.
12. Strengthen corporate governance by implementing sound financial policies, procedures, and internal control systems.
13. Establish and continuously improve financial controls and governance frameworks across the organization.
14. Identify, evaluate, and mitigate financial, operational, and business risks while ensuring effective risk management practices.
15.
Drive profitability and operational efficiency through financial analysis, cost optimization, budgeting controls, and performance monitoring.
16. Partner with the Managing Director, Board of Directors, and senior management team in strategic planning, business expansion, financial decision-making, mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate initiatives.
17. Coordinate with consultants for the preparation of Information Memorandums (IM), Detailed Project Reports (DPR), feasibility studies, financial models, and other financial documentation required for projects and funding.
18. Liaise and maintain effective relationships with banks, financial institutions, investors, government agencies, regulatory authorities, and other key stakeholders.
19. Coordinate with internal and external auditors, financial consultants, legal advisors, and other professional agencies to ensure smooth financial operations and compliance.
20. Monitor the Company's financial performance through key financial indicators and provide strategic recommendations for continuous improvement.
21. Lead, mentor, monitor, and develop the Finance & Accounts team, ensuring high standards of financial governance, accountability, and performance.
22. Ensure timely preparation and submission of budgets, forecasts, MIS reports, cash flow statements, financial analyses, and other reports required by the management and Board.
23. Support strategic business initiatives by providing financial insights, scenario analysis, and recommendations to maximize shareholder value.
24. Perform any other financial, strategic, and corporate responsibilities assigned by the Management in line with the Company's objectives.
Qualifications
- CMA India Qualification compulsory.
- Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in finance and accounts, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
Pay: From ₹100,000.00 per month
