Role Purpose

To support the estimation and costing function by preparing accurate quantity take-offs, cost estimates, BOQs, and project-related calculations while ensuring timely and cost-effective project planning.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and project cost estimates.
- Prepare and review BOQs based on drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Analyze material, labour, and other project costs.
- Collect and compare quotations from vendors and subcontractors.
- Assist in rate analysis and estimation of construction activities.
- Coordinate with the engineering, procurement, and project teams for accurate costing.
- Maintain estimation records, rate databases, and cost sheets.
- Identify variations in quantities, rates, and project costs.
- Assist in preparing tender and quotation documents.
- Ensure estimates are accurate and submitted within defined timelines.

KPI / Targets

- Accuracy of quantity take-offs and cost estimates.




- Timely completion and submission of estimates.
- Accuracy of BOQs and rate analysis.
- Proper documentation and maintenance of estimation records.
- Effective comparison and analysis of vendor quotations.
- Minimization of errors and cost discrepancies.

Skills Required

- Basic knowledge of construction estimation and costing.
- Understanding of BOQ, quantity take-off, and rate analysis.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel.
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Positive communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work within deadlines.

Qualification

Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering or a relevant qualification.

Preferred Candidate

Freshers to 2 years of experience in estimation, quantity surveying, billing, or construction costing. Candidates with internship/project experience in estimation are also encouraged to apply.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
