Education Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or higher with minimum 7 years of relevant experience.

We are looking for a Senior .NET Developer who can operate as both a strong individual contributor and a technical lead within a large, complex banking software project. The ideal candidate has deep hands-on expertise in ASP.NET Core, SQL Server, and enterprise integration patterns, combined with the ability to guide a small team, uphold engineering standards, and communicate effectively with cross-functional and client-facing stakeholders.

Your future duties and responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications and REST APIs using ASP.NET Core across a large multi-project solution.
- Lead and mentor a small team of developers — review code, guide design decisions, and help resolve technical blockers.
- Own technical design and architecture decisions for assigned modules, ensuring alignment with Clean Architecture and layered design principles.
- Write and enforce unit and integration test coverage (xUnit/NUnit) as part of the standard development workflow.
- Manage and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps or similar), supporting reliable and frequent deployments.
- Collaborate with business analysts, QA, and client stakeholders to translate banking/credit union business requirements into technical solutions.




- Design and maintain data models and complex queries/stored procedures in MS SQL Server.
- Design and implement integrations with external REST/SOAP APIs, including data mapping and transformation between systems.
- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, estimation, and technical documentation.
- Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and data-handling standards relevant to the banking/financial domain.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

Must to have Skills-

Core .NET & Backend Development

- Strong command of C#, ASP.NET Core, and .NET fundamentals (OOP, SOLID principles, design patterns).
- Proven experience developing and consuming REST APIs; familiarity with Swagger/OpenAPI documentation.
- Solid understanding of middleware pipelines, dependency injection, and configuration management.
- Strong hands-on experience with MS SQL Server — complex queries, stored procedures, indexing, and performance tuning.

Integration and Data Mapping

- Hands-on experience integrating with external REST/SOAP APIs.
- Solid understanding of data transformation and serialization (JSON, XML).
- Ability to design and implement mappings between canonical data models and third-party/vendor endpoints.

Architecture and Patterns

- Practical knowledge of Clean Architecture, layered design, and modular service development.
- Exposure to microservices patterns and best practices.
- Ability to work confidently across a large, multi-project (~150 projects) solution structure without losing sight of the overall system design.

Testing and Quality

- Strong discipline in writing unit tests (xUnit/NUnit) and integration tests using mocks/stubs.
- Experience setting up or maintaining automated test workflows.
- Comfortable enforcing test coverage and quality gates within a team.

DevOps and Deployment Awareness

- Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps preferred).
- Understanding of containerization (Docker)

- Comfortable working in on-premise/hybrid deployment environments (no heavy public cloud dependency).

Leadership and Communication

- Prior experience mentoring or informally/formally leading a small team of developers.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; comfortable interacting with onshore/offshore teams and client stakeholders.
- Ability to break down requirements, estimate effort, and communicate risks/blockers proactively.

Domain Knowledge

- Preferred: Prior experience in Banking / Financial Services, especially Credit Union (CU) systems in Canada or North America.
- Familiarity with core banking concepts (accounts, transactions, payments, compliance considerations) is a strong plus.

Good to have Skills-

- Exposure to Kubernetes or other container orchestration.
- Experience working on large legacy modernization or multi-team integration projects.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery practices.
