We are looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable General Duty Aide (GDA) Trainer to train and mentor students in essential healthcare skills. The trainer will be responsible for delivering high-quality theoretical and practical training and preparing students with the knowledge, skills, and professional attitude required to work as General Duty Aides in healthcare settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct classroom and practical training sessions for GDA students.
- Teach basic patient care, personal hygiene, nutrition, mobility assistance, and related healthcare practices.
- Provide training on infection prevention, hygiene, and biomedical waste management.
- Demonstrate basic healthcare procedures, patient safety, and emergency care practices.
- Conduct practical demonstrations and evaluate students' performance.
- Maintain attendance, training records, assessments, and other required documentation.
- Guide and motivate students throughout the training program.
- Ensure training is delivered according to the prescribed curriculum and skill standards.
- Coordinate with the centre team regarding student progress and training activities.
Eligibility / Qualification
- B.Sc. Nursing – 2024-2025 Pass Out, OR
- GNM Nursing – 2022 Pass Out
Skills Required
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Strong knowledge of basic nursing and patient-care practices.
- Ability to conduct both theoretical and practical training.
- Good classroom management and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for teaching and developing students' practical skills.
Preferred
- Candidates with prior teaching or training experience will be preferred.
- Candidates should be willing to work in a skill-development/training-centre workplace.
