Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities - Production Material Kitting

- Plan and prepare material kits as per production schedule for multiple automotive customers
- Handle SMD reels, trays, and cut tapes with proper identification and control
- Ensure 100% accuracy of part number, quantity, revision, and customer-specific requirements
- Maintain strict traceability for automotive standards (lot, batch, date code)
- Follow FIFO/FEFO for reel components to avoid aging and obsolescence




- Coordinate with stores, planning, and SMT lines for timely material readiness
- Monitor and control shortages, alternate parts, and customer approvals
- Perform reel verification including MSL status, baking, and floor life control
- Ensure proper labeling as per customer and automotive compliance requirements
- Maintain ESD-protected handling and storage for all electronic components
- Manage material returns, re-kitting, and reconciliation without mix-up between customers
- Implement 5S and error-proofing (Poka-Yoke) in kitting process
