Field Operations & Biomass Sourcing Coordinator

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for a locally connected, practical and resourceful person who understands the rural economy of Nadia/Murshidabad and can act as the link between our Project Team and the local community.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop local sources for jute sticks, paddy straw, mustard stalks and other biomass.
- Coordinate with farmers, FPOs, farias, rice mills, suppliers and transporters.
- Coordinate local labour for biomass collection, handling and loading.
- Handle routine liaison with Gram Panchayat, local authorities and service departments.
- Visit villages and project locations regularly and resolve field-level issues.
- Maintain basic records of suppliers, procurement and field activities.




- Support the Project Manager in smooth day-to-day project operations.

Candidate Requirements

- Must be a resident of Nadia or Murshidabad District.
- Preference for candidates from Krishnanagar and nearby areas of Nadia.
- Graduate in any discipline; Agriculture/Rural Development is an advantage.
- 2+ years of rural field, agriculture, procurement, FPO, NGO or agro-business experience.
- Fluent in Bengali and Hindi; basic English preferred.
- Valuable knowledge of local villages, farmers and rural networks.
- Must be comfortable with extensive field travel.
- Two-wheeler and valid driving licence preferred.

We are looking for a “hands-on” local person who can build relationships, source biomass and get things done at the ground level.

Salary: Negotiable based on experience.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
