About the Role –

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer with 5–6 years of relevant experience in the MEP Consulting / Building Services industry. The candidate will be responsible for electrical design, engineering calculations, preparation and checking of drawings, coordination with other MEP services, and ensuring compliance with applicable codes and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed electrical designs for commercial, residential, industrial, hospitality, and other building projects.
- Develop electrical layouts, single-line diagrams (SLD), load schedules, panel schedules, and schematic drawings.
- Perform electrical load calculations, voltage-drop calculations, short-circuit calculations, and cable sizing.
- Design and coordinate systems including LT distribution, HT systems, transformers, DG systems, UPS, lighting, small power, earthing, lightning protection, and fire alarm systems.
- Prepare electrical specifications, BOQs, equipment schedules, and design reports.
- Review and check electrical drawings, calculations, and technical documents.
- Coordinate electrical services with HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, and other MEP disciplines.
- Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, clients, contractors, and project teams to resolve design issues.
- Attend project coordination meetings and provide technical inputs whenever required.
- Review shop drawings, material submittals, technical submissions, and contractor queries.
- Ensure designs comply with relevant Indian Standards, NBC, IEC, local regulations, and project-specific requirements.
- Support site teams during execution and resolve technical/design-related issues.




- Conduct design reviews and ensure projects are delivered within agreed timelines and quality standards.
- Assist in mentoring junior engineers and draftsmen and provide technical guidance to the team.

Required Technical Skills

- Strong knowledge of Electrical Building Services / MEP Design.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Working knowledge of Revit MEP is preferred.
- Good understanding of electrical design software and calculation tools.
- Strong knowledge of electrical design calculations and equipment selection.
- Good knowledge of relevant codes and standards such as NBC, IS, IEC, and local authority requirements.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
- Robust coordination skills with multidisciplinary teams.

Educational Qualification

- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering / Electrical & Electronics Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Relevant professional certifications will be an added advantage.

Candidates with experience in MEP consultancy, building services design, commercial buildings, residential projects, hospitals, hotels, data centers, industrial projects, or large-scale infrastructure projects will be preferred.
