Role Overview

Khwaahish Diamonds is looking for a Cashier cum Assistant Accounts Executive to manage customer billing, payment transactions and day-to-day accounting support at our jewellery showroom.

As this role interacts directly with customers during the final stage of their purchase, we are looking for someone who combines financial accuracy with professional customer service.

The role involves billing, payment reconciliation, documentation and basic accounting while coordinating closely with the sales, inventory and accounts teams.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Handle customer billing accurately through the POS/billing system.
- Receive and process payments through cash, cards, UPI, bank transfers and other approved payment methods.
- Verify payment details and ensure accurate completion of every transaction.
- Prepare daily cash and collection reports.
- Reconcile cash, card, bank and digital payments against sales records.
- Maintain accurate records of invoices, receipts, vouchers and payment documents.
- Assist with daily accounting entries, journal entries and ledger postings.
- Coordinate with the sales and inventory teams for sales, returns, exchanges and customer advances.
- Assist with bank deposits, petty cash, vendor reconciliations and payment-related follow-ups.
- Ensure correct GST invoicing and supporting documentation.
- Assist the accounts team with routine accounting and reconciliation activities.
- Maintain confidentiality of customer,



transaction and financial information.
- Provide a polite, skilled and seamless billing experience to customers.

Experience & Qualifications

- 1–3 years of experience in cashiering, retail billing, accounts or junior accounting roles.
- Previous experience in the jewellery or premium retail industry is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and GST.
- Experience using POS, accounting or billing software is preferred.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Abiramapuram, Tamil Nadu: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

- Cashiering: 2 years (Required)
