Job Overview & Role Description:
Gurukul Child Development Center is hiring passionate and caring part-time assistants and educators for our Nagpur unit to work with children with special needs. You will work directly alongside our Head/Psychologist, receiving complete step-by-step orientation, session plans, and active guidance.
In this role, you will assist in conducting 1-on-1 and small group developmental sessions. You will be provided with structured plans and real-time support to help children engage in sensory integration activities, focus-building exercises, remedial learning, and guided activities tailored for children with special needs.
If you are a primary/pre-school teacher or a graduate in Psychology/Special Education who enjoys mentoring children, this is a great opportunity to gain valuable practical experience in child development and behavioral guidance!
Shift Options Available (Select One):
- Shift 1: 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM (3 Hours/day)
- Shift 2: 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM (3 Hours/day)
Key Responsibilities:
- Work directly with the Unit Head to learn and execute structured daily session plans for children with special needs.
- Guide and mentor children (ages up to 11 years) through focus-building tasks, fine motor/academic exercises, and sensory routines.
- Help create a positive, encouraging, and structured environment for learning and growth.
- Assist with session setups, daily activity logs, and smooth parent handovers.
Requirements & Preferences:
- Education (Mandatory): Graduation completed in any stream.
- Target Applicants: Primary / Pre-primary School Teachers, or Psychology / Special Education graduates.
- Experience: School teachers are welcome to apply—complete orientation and guidance for working with special needs children will be provided.
- Attributes: High patience, warmth, good communication, and a genuine interest in working with children with special needs.
