EPM System Engineer – Hyperion / Oracle EPM

Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced EPM System Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Oracle Hyperion / Oracle EPM environments. The ideal candidate should have experience in installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, migrations, troubleshooting, integrations, security, monitoring, and production support.
The candidate should be comfortable independently handling L3/P3 support and working across development, testing, and production environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform Oracle Hyperion/EPM installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, and maintenance.
- Manage and support Oracle EPM IaaS environments.
- Troubleshoot EPM platform, infrastructure, application, and performance issues.
- Manage EPM environment migrations, cloning, and deployments.
- Support integrations and data loads using FDMEE and EPM tools.
- Configure and maintain EPM security, authentication, authorization, and SSO.
- Perform workplace health checks and monitoring.
- Provide L3/P3 production support and conduct root-cause analysis.
- Automate administration and operational activities using scripting.
- Coordinate with infrastructure, security, application, and integration teams.
- Maintain technical documentation and participate in knowledge transfer.
Required Skills
- 7+ years of relevant Oracle EPM / Hyperion experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Hyperion On-Premise installation,
configuration, maintenance, and patching.
- Experience with Oracle EPM IaaS.
- Strong knowledge of:
- Hyperion
- HFM
- FDMEE
- DRM
- DRG
- FCM
- Understanding of Oracle EPM SaaS products such as ARCS, TRCS, and EPBCS.
- Experience with EPM Automate.
- Strong EPM migration and integration experience.
- Experience with SSO and EPM security.
- Hands-on experience with RHEL/Linux and Windows Server.
- Scripting experience in PowerShell, Linux Shell, or Python.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
Good to Have
- Enterprise monitoring and alerting tools.
- Third-party EPM tools such as EPM Maestro/Mastero.
- ITIL-based production support experience.
- Oracle EPM Cloud administration.
- Automation and DevOps practices.
- Experience integrating EPM with enterprise monitoring platforms.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate should be able to independently manage the complete EPM lifecycle:
Installation → Configuration → Migration → Upgrade → Patching → Integration → Monitoring → Troubleshooting → Production Support
Strong stakeholder management, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently in a production environment are essential.
Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
