PCB Assembly & Electronics Technician

Experience: 3–7 years

Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka

Employment: Full-time

Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled PCB Assembly & Electronics Technician with robust hands-on experience in SMD/THT assembly, 0201/0102 components, BGA rework, IPC standards, harness assembly, crimping, and basic hardware troubleshooting.Key Responsibilities

- SMD/THT PCB assembly, soldering, modification, and rework.
- Strong hands-on experience with 0201/0102 and fine-pitch components.
- BGA removal, replacement, rework and reballing experience.
- Work with QFN, QFP, LQFP, LGA, DFN and other fine-pitch packages.
- PCB inspection, solder-joint inspection and component-level rework.
- Perform PCB modifications including jumper wires, track cuts, component replacement and pad/track repair.
- Support PCB bring-up, hardware debugging and prototype development.
- Read and understand schematics, PCB layouts, BOMs, assembly drawings and harness drawings.
- Use soldering station, hot-air/BGA rework station, microscope, DMM, power supply, oscilloscope and other lab equipment.

Harness & Crimping

- Hands-on experience in wire harness assembly and crimping.
- Wire cutting, stripping, terminal crimping and connector assembly.
- Pin insertion/extraction, wire identification, heat-shrink and cable sleeving.
- Harness continuity testing and connector inspection.
- Understanding of wire gauges, terminals, connector pinouts and locking mechanisms.




- Experience with automotive/industrial connectors is an advantage.

IPC StandardsGood practical knowledge of:

- IPC-A-610 – Electronic Assembly Acceptability
- IPC J-STD-001 – Soldered Assemblies
- IPC/WHMA-A-620 – Cable & Wire Harness Assemblies
- ESD handling and soldering workmanship requirements.

PCB Design – Added Advantage

Basic knowledge of PCB design/layout is preferred:

- Schematic and PCB layout understanding
- Component footprints and placement
- PCB layers, tracks and vias
- BOM, Gerber and assembly drawings
- Basic experience with KiCad, Altium, Cadence/OrCAD or similar tools.

Ideal CandidateA strong hands-on electronics technician who can independently handle:

Component Identification → PCB Assembly → Fine-Pitch/0201 Assembly → BGA Rework → IPC Inspection → Harness/Crimping → Testing → PCB Modification → Basic Board Bring-up

The candidate should be comfortable working closely with Hardware, Firmware, PCB Design, and Manufacturing teams during prototype and product development.

Pay: ₹200,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
