Job Summary:

Responsible for leading overall production operations for quality tools and precision components, ensuring production targets, product quality, delivery schedules, cost efficiency, and continuous process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead end-to-end production operations for quality tools and precision components
- Develop production plans and ensure timely achievement of targets
- Manage manpower, machines, production capacity, and shop-floor resources
- Monitor production KPIs, productivity, rejection, rework, and machine downtime
- Coordinate with Quality, Tool Room, Design, Purchase, Maintenance, and Stores teams
- Ensure products are manufactured as per drawings, specifications, and quality standards
- Drive process improvement, productivity enhancement, and cost-reduction initiatives
- Implement Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, TPM, and continuous improvement practices
- Monitor raw material and tool availability to avoid production delays
- Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective actions
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and manufacturing standards
- Lead and develop Production Managers, Engineers, Supervisors, and shop-floor teams
- Prepare production MIS, KPI reports, and performance reviews for management

Skills Required:





- Robust knowledge of precision manufacturing and production processes
- Knowledge of quality tools, measuring instruments, gauges, jigs, fixtures, dies, and precision components
- Understanding of CNC/VMC machining, grinding, EDM, turning, milling, and tool-room processes
- Strong knowledge of drawings, GD&T;, tolerances, and inspection requirements
- Expertise in production planning, capacity utilization, and cost control
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and Six Sigma
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in ERP/SAP and MS Excel

Qualification & Experience:

- BE/B.Tech in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering
- 12–18 years of experience in production/tool manufacturing
- Minimum 5 years in a senior production leadership role

Preferred Experience:

- Experience in precision tools, gauges, dies, jigs & fixtures, automotive components, engineering tools, or tool-room manufacturing
- Solid exposure to CNC/VMC, EDM, grinding, inspection, quality control, and process optimization
- Experience managing high-precision manufacturing environments is preferred

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
