Assistant Store Manager – Job ResponsibilitiesStore Operations

- Manage day-to-day operations of the organic store and ensure smooth functioning.
- Take responsibility for opening and closing the store as per the assigned timings.
- Ensure the store is clean, organized, hygienic, and customer-ready at all times.
- Check that all products are properly displayed, labelled, priced, and arranged.
- Monitor store equipment, storage areas, refrigerators, and other operational requirements.

Inventory & Stock Management

- Monitor daily stock levels and maintain proper inventory records.
- Check incoming stock for quantity, quality, freshness, and damage.
- Maintain proper storage of organic products according to product requirements.
- Identify low-stock, quick-moving, slow-moving, damaged, or expired products and report them to management.
- Coordinate with the concerned team for timely stock replenishment.

Customer Service & Sales

- Welcome customers and assist them in selecting suitable organic products.
- Explain product details, quality, benefits, pricing, and usage wherever required.
- Handle customer queries, feedback, complaints, and service requirements professionally.
- Support the team in achieving daily and monthly sales targets.
- Ensure a positive and professional customer experience.

Order Preparation & Delivery

- Receive and coordinate customer orders received through the store, phone, WhatsApp, website, or other channels.
- Ensure orders are picked, checked, packed, labelled, and kept ready for delivery on time.
- Verify product quantity and order details before handing over orders for delivery.
- Coordinate with delivery staff and ensure timely dispatch of customer orders.
- Maintain proper records of delivered, pending, cancelled, and returned orders.

Stall & Event Management

- Take responsibility for organic product stalls at events, exhibitions, schools, offices, markets, and other locations when required.
- Coordinate the setup and arrangement of products at stalls.
- Ensure sufficient stock, display materials,



pricing information, billing arrangements, and packing materials are available at the stall.
- Handle customer interactions and sales at stalls.
- Manage stock movement to and from the stall and maintain proper sales and stock records.
- Ensure the stall is properly closed, products are safely packed, and remaining stock is returned to the store.

Billing & Cash Handling

- Handle billing and POS/cash counter operations when required.
- Maintain accurate records of cash, digital payments, credit sales, and daily collections.
- Verify daily sales and cash collections and report discrepancies immediately.
- Ensure proper closing of the cash counter at the end of the day.

Team Coordination

- Supervise and coordinate store assistants, packing staff, and delivery personnel as required.
- Allocate daily tasks and monitor completion.
- Ensure staff follow hygiene, grooming, customer service, and store procedures.
- Support training and guide new staff members.

Store Security & Closing Responsibilities

- Ensure all products, cash, equipment, and store assets are secured before closing.
- Check lights, electrical equipment, refrigerators, doors, shutters, and other necessary items before leaving.
- Ensure the store is properly locked and secured after closing.
- Report any security, maintenance, equipment, or operational issues to management immediately.

Reporting & Administration

- Maintain daily records of sales, stock, purchases, deliveries, returns, wastage, and expenses.
- Prepare daily/weekly operational reports as required.
- Coordinate with management regarding stock requirements, customer issues, staff requirements, and store performance.
- Follow all company policies, hygiene standards, food-safety requirements, and operational procedures.

Key Responsibility

Ensure the organic store operates smoothly from opening to closing, with proper stock management, customer service, order preparation, delivery coordination, stall management, billing, cleanliness, and security.

Sunday working, Week off will be provided

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
