We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager – Automation to handle automation systems, maintenance, and continuous improvement of assembly line operations. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in PLC & SCADA programming along with hands-on experience in industrial automation.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain automation systems including PLC and SCADA programming
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in assembly line automation
- Handle preventive and breakdown maintenance of automation equipment
- Work on pneumatic systems and ensure smooth functioning
- Optimize automation processes to improve efficiency and reduce downtime
- Coordinate with production and maintenance teams for smooth operations
- Lead automation-related projects and upgrades
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of PLC programming (Siemens / Allen Bradley preferred)
- Experience with SCADA systems
- Hands-on experience in assembly line automation
- Good understanding of pneumatics and industrial automation systems
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Leadership and team-handling ability
Preferred Candidate Profile
- 6+ years of relevant experience in automation
- Experience in manufacturing/production setting
- Good communication and coordination skills
