Job Description

We are looking for a UPS Service Engineer to handle installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and servicing of Online UPS systems and associated batteries at customer locations.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, commission, and test Online UPS systems at customer sites.
- Attend breakdown and service complaints and provide timely technical support.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot UPS faults, alarms, battery issues, and power-related problems.
- Perform preventive maintenance and routine health checks of UPS systems.
- Check UPS modules, rectifiers, inverters, batteries, bypass systems, and related components.
- Conduct battery inspection, testing, and replacement activities.
- Prepare service reports, installation reports, and maintenance records.
- Coordinate with customers and internal sales/service teams for service requirements.
- Provide technical guidance to customers regarding UPS operation and maintenance.
- Travel to customer locations as required for installation and service activities.
- Ensure proper documentation and closure of service calls.




- Follow company safety procedures and service standards.

Qualification

- Diploma / ITI / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
- 1–3 years of experience in UPS, inverter, electrical, or power electronics service is preferred.
- Freshers with relevant technical knowledge may also be considered.

Required Skills

- Positive knowledge of Online UPS systems and batteries.
- Basic understanding of electrical and electronic circuits.
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to use electrical testing instruments such as multimeter and clamp meter.
- Good communication and customer-handling skills.
- Willingness to travel to customer locations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a service team.

Preferred Experience

Experience with 1 kVA to 200 kVA+ Online UPS systems, VRLA/SMF batteries, industrial UPS, and preventive maintenance will be an added advantage.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
