What will you do at Fynd?

- Build scalable, loosely coupled services for our Transportation Management System.
- Develop reliable APIs and integrations with logistics partners, payment providers, mapping platforms, and internal services.
- Build event-driven workflows for shipments, trips, riders, routing, and delivery operations.
- Develop responsive web applications used by operations teams and business users.
- Improve application performance, observability, fault tolerance, and overall availability.
- Own features from design and development through testing, deployment, and production support.
- Operate large-scale applications on GCP and contribute to continuous improvements in our engineering practices.
- Work closely with product and operations teams as requirements and workflows evolve.

Some specific requirements

- Prior experience developing and maintaining consumer-facing or operations-focused web applications.
- Hands-on experience with Node.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, Express.js, and REST API integrations.
- Good knowledge of asynchronous programming using callbacks, Promises, and async/await.
- Experience building frontend applications using React, HTML, CSS, and modern browser APIs.
- Working knowledge of PostgreSQL, SQL, database design, indexing,



and complex data models.
- Understanding of API security, error handling, third-party integrations, and production troubleshooting.
- Good understanding of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and networking fundamentals.
- Experience writing automated tests and supporting applications across development, testing, and production.
- You may not have experience with every tool in our stack, but you should be able to learn with appropriate guidance and resources.

Positive to have

- Experience with Apache Kafka and event-driven systems.
- Working knowledge of MongoDB and Redis.
- Familiarity with Vite, Webpack, Jest, Vitest, or Playwright.
- Understanding of distributed systems, caching, retries, and idempotency.
- Experience with GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, and observability tools.
- Knowledge of TMS, shipments, trips, routing, mapping, or last-mile delivery systems.
