Job Title: Fire Technician

Department:

Operations – Fire Protection Systems

Location: Pune, Maharashtra (Travel to customer sites required)

Reporting To: Service Engineer / Operations Manager

Job Purpose:

To carry out preventive maintenance, testing, inspection, troubleshooting, repair, and minor installation work on fire protection systems at customer sites, ensuring compliance with applicable standards and AMC commitments.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance of fire protection systems.

- Test and inspect fire alarm, fire hydrant, sprinkler, and suppression systems.

- Troubleshoot and rectify faults in fire alarm panels and field devices.

- Maintain pumps, valves, hydrant systems, hose reels, and sprinklers.

- Replace defective detectors, MCPs, hooters, modules, and other components.

- Prepare service reports and maintenance checklists after every visit.

- Coordinate with customers for system shutdowns and restoration.

- Report major faults and recommend corrective actions.

- Ensure all work is carried out safely and as per company procedures.

- Maintain tools, testing equipment, and spare parts.

Required Skills:

- Knowledge of fire alarm and firefighting systems.

- Ability to read basic electrical drawings and layouts.

- Basic electrical troubleshooting skills.





- Familiarity with preventive maintenance procedures.

- Positive communication and customer-handling skills.

- Ability to work independently at customer sites.

Qualifications:

- ITI (Electrician/Electronics) or Diploma in Electrical/Electronics.

- 2–5 years of experience in fire protection system installation or AMC.

- Valid two-wheeler driving licence preferred.

Preferred Experience:

Experience with systems from manufacturers such as Honeywell, Siemens, Bosch, Eaton, Notifier, Agni, Ravel, or equivalent.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

- AMC visits completed on schedule.

- First-time fault resolution rate.

- Customer satisfaction.

- Service report accuracy and timely submission.

- Zero safety violations.

- Attendance and punctuality.

Salary Range:

₹18,000–₹30,000 per month (depending on experience), plus travel allowance, overtime (if applicable), and performance incentives.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
