Key Responsibilities

- Assist the Homeroom Teacher in planning and delivering lessons based on the IB curriculum (PYP/MYP as applicable).
- Support differentiated instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
- Help in preparing teaching materials, learning resources, and classroom displays.
- Work with small groups or individual students to reinforce learning concepts.
- Support the social, emotional, and academic development of students.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.
- Monitor student behavior and encourage adherence to school values and policies.
- Assist in maintaining discipline and classroom organization.
- Help supervise students during classroom activities, breaks, and school events.
- Ensure safety and well-being of all students at all times.
- Assist in observing and documenting student progress.
- Support in maintaining portfolios, records, and assessment data.
- Help in preparing reports and feedback for parents.
- Work closely with the Homeroom Teacher, subject teachers, and IB Coordinator.
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and IB workshops.
- Contribute to school events, exhibitions, and co-curricular activities.





Qualifications & Skills:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Education.
- Knowledge or training in IB curriculum (PYP/MYP) is an advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team workplace.
- Passion for child-centered and inquiry-based learning.
- Basic classroom management and organizational skills.

Experience

- Freshers with strong aptitude and training in IB pedagogy may also be considered.
