We are looking for a qualified and experienced Assistant Professor in Medical-Surgical Nursing to join our academic team. The candidate will be responsible for teaching, clinical supervision, student mentoring, and academic activities related to Medical-Surgical Nursing.

Key Responsibilities

- Teach Medical-Surgical Nursing theory and practical classes.
- Conduct clinical postings and supervise students in hospital departments.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, assignments, and examinations.
- Guide and mentor nursing students in academic and clinical activities.
- Maintain student attendance, clinical records, and academic documentation.
- Conduct demonstrations, seminars, case presentations, and clinical discussions.
- Participate in internal assessments, examinations, and evaluation activities.
- Ensure compliance with INC, KNMC, and KUHS academic requirements.
- Participate in departmental meetings, workshops, research, and other institutional activities.
- Maintain professional standards and promote safe, ethical nursing practices.

Eligibility

- M.Sc.



Nursing in Medical-Surgical Nursing from a recognized institution.
- Valid KNMC registration. 3 Year of experience needed.
- Candidates meeting applicable INC/KUHS eligibility criteria will be preferred.
- Teaching/clinical experience in Medical-Surgical Nursing is preferred.
- Strong communication, teaching, and clinical supervision skills.
