Position: Civil Engineer - Prefabrication (Pod)

Location: Jalandhar Plant

Job Overview:

We are seeking a energetic Civil Engineer to oversee and execute the end-to-end prefabrication of modular units, including conference room pods, washroom pods, acoustic room pods, and security cabins. The candidate will translate architectural drawings into shop-floor execution, manage structural framing (LGSF/Mild Steel), coordinate interior fit-outs, and ensure structural rigidity, waterproofing, and quality finishes.

Key Responsibilities

- Drawing Translation & Planning: Read and interpret structural, architectural, and MEP civil drawings (AutoCAD/Revit); prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and material requisitions.
- Structural Framing & Assembly: Supervise the assembly of Light Gauge Steel Framing (LGSF), mild steel structures, or modular panels to ensure load-bearing safety and alignment.
- Civil & Finishing Supervision: Oversee panel installations, drywalls, insulation (rockwool/acoustic panels), raised flooring, tiling, and ceiling fit-outs.
- Waterproofing & Plumbing Integration:



Ensure strict leak-proofing and moisture barriers for washroom pods and exterior security cabins.
- Quality Assurance & Testing: Conduct structural stability tests, acoustic leak checks, door alignment, and transport-durability inspections before dispatch.
- Vendor & Shop-Floor Management: Lead a team of welders, carpenters, plumbers, and fitters on the production floor to hit delivery timelines.

Required Qualifications & Experience

- Education: B.Tech / B.E. or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- Experience: 2–6 years in offsite/modular construction, Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEB), dry construction, shipping container conversions, or commercial interior fit-outs.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, basic Revit/Sketchup, and MS Office.
- Deep understanding of dry construction materials: Fiber Cement Boards, Gypsum Boards, ACP, PUF Panels, Rockwool, and LGSF.
- Hands-on knowledge of waterproofing chemicals/membranes, joint sealants, and acoustic insulation techniques.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
