Job Description – Retail Sales Associate

Job Summary

We are looking for a customer-focused and energetic Retail Sales Associate to assist customers, drive store sales, and provide an excellent shopping experience. The ideal candidate should have robust communication skills, a positive attitude, and a willingness to achieve sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

- Greet customers and understand their requirements.
- Assist customers in selecting suitable products.
- Explain product features, pricing, offers, and benefits.
- Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
- Maintain excellent customer service and build strong customer relationships.
- Handle customer queries, complaints, and feedback professionally.
- Maintain attractive product displays and proper store merchandising.
- Ensure products are properly stocked, labelled, and organized.
- Assist with billing, payments, exchanges, and returns as required.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales area.
- Maintain knowledge of products, competitors, and current promotions.
- Maintain accurate sales and customer records.




- Coordinate with the Store Manager and other team members to ensure smooth store operations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 12th pass or Graduate in any discipline.
- Previous retail or sales experience is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Customer-oriented and confident personality.
- Strong convincing and negotiation skills.
- Ability to meet sales targets.
- Basic computer/POS knowledge.
- Good grooming and professional appearance.
- Ability to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays when required.

- Achievement of monthly sales targets.
- Customer satisfaction and retention.
- Conversion of walk-in customers into sales.
- Average transaction value.
- Product knowledge and upselling performance.
