Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Architectural Draughtsman – Design Coordinator to join our Design & Architecture team. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate, detailed, and construction-ready drawings while coordinating with architects, consultants, contractors, and site teams to ensure smooth execution of projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed architectural plans, layouts, sections, elevations, and construction drawings using AutoCAD.
- Convert architectural concepts and sketches into accurate and detailed technical drawings.
- Prepare Working Drawings, GFC Drawings, and Shop Drawings as per project requirements.
- Coordinate architectural drawings with structural, MEP, and other consultant drawings.
- Identify and resolve drawing discrepancies and coordination issues before execution.
- Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, and vendors regarding drawing-related queries.
- Conduct site visits and incorporate site measurements and execution requirements into drawings.
- Maintain drawing registers, revision records, and proper document/version control.
- Review drawings received from consultants and ensure alignment with project requirements.
- Assist architects and the design team with design development and technical detailing.
- Prepare drawings and documentation required for approvals, tendering, and procurement.




- Assist in preparing BOQs and quantity-related documentation based on drawings.
- Ensure drawings comply with applicable building codes, byelaws, and project standards.
- Coordinate revisions and ensure the latest approved drawings are communicated to the concerned teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Diploma/Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or Architectural Draughtsmanship.
- Diploma in Architectural Assistantship or B.Arch will be preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in architectural drafting and design coordination.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory.
- Working knowledge of Revit, SketchUp, or 3ds Max will be an added advantage.
- Strong understanding of architectural construction drawings and technical detailing.
- Ability to read and coordinate structural and MEP drawings.
- Valuable understanding of construction processes and building byelaws.
- Strong coordination and communication skills.
- Good attention to detail with strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Experience with residential and commercial real estate projects will be preferred.
