- Patient Care: Conduct physical exams, take medical histories, diagnose and treat acute/chronic conditions, and manage patient care plans.
- Diagnostics & Treatment: Order and interpret lab tests (X-rays, bloodwork), prescribe medications, perform procedures (suturing, wound care), and provide immunizations.
- Collaboration: Work interdependently with physicians and other healthcare providers, assisting in surgeries and coordinating care.
- Patient Education: Counsel patients and families on health, wellness, lifestyle changes, and preventive care.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and charts.
