Job Summary

The Retail Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of receiving, storing, inventory management, and dispatching goods to retail stores and end customers. This role ensures high operational efficiency, stock accuracy, strict safety adherence, and optimal team productivity within the warehouse facility.

Key Responsibilities

1. Warehouse Operations & Logistics

- Direct and oversee all daily warehouse activities, including stock receiving, unloading, put-away, picking, packing, and dispatch.
- Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization to maximize storage capacity and operational flow.
- Coordinate logistics and transport schedules to guarantee timely stock replenishment across retail outlets.

2. Inventory Control & Management

- Maintain 100% stock accuracy by conducting regular cycle counts and full physical inventory audits.
- Reconcile physical inventory against System Stock and investigate any discrepancies or shrinkages.
- Monitor stock movement using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or ERP software to maintain optimal inventory levels.

3. Team Leadership & Staff Management

- Manage shift schedules, task allocations, and attendance for warehouse supervisors, loaders, and operational staff.
- Train and onboard warehouse personnel on operational standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines.
- Evaluate staff performance, address conduct/disciplinary matters,



and promote workforce productivity.

4. Quality Control & Safety Compliance

- Enforce health and safety regulations to ensure a secure working environment and minimize workplace hazards.
- Implement damaged-goods prevention measures during handling, loading, and transit.
- Manage warehouse equipment maintenance (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks, racking systems).

5. Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination

- Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and transport partners to ensure smooth inbound and outbound logistics.
- Collaborate closely with retail store managers and procurement teams to align supply with store demand.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Experience: 3–5+ years of experience in warehouse management, preferably within the retail or FMCG sector.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP tools (e.g., SAP, Tally, Microsoft Dynamics).
- Advanced command of MS Excel for tracking, inventory reports, and scheduling.
- Core Competencies:
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and team management skills.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.

Pay: ₹14,456.01 - ₹49,164.07 per month
