Role u0026 responsibilities nnDesign components and assemblies with PTC CREO solid modeling software, creating necessary procedures and instructions, and all other documentation as required. Type of design work is easy to moderate complexity. nnDevelop and document engineering specifications and material requirements as required. Process ECNs. Follow established document control procedures. nnAbility to analyze and resolve easy to moderate technical issues and problems using best practice tools and methods across cross functional teams. (i.e. FEA, DFMEA, DOE, DFM/DFA, fault tree analysis, etc.) nnCommunicate and collaborate effectively with all levels of the organization both orally and in written fashion. Coordinate engineering activity with Sloan partners and design sites.



Participate in setting design standards across the organization nnProvide support to engineering peers on work assignments and creating correct work content with minimal errors. Support other team members on process and problem solving. Communicate to manager when you have extra bandwidth. nnPlan and specify effective component level experimentation to verify and validate engineering designs to product requirements. Create and evaluate prototypes. Capable of designing unique Ru0026D; tests, and creating detailed engineering reports. nnInvestigate new technologies to be applied to future products. Research, recommend, and implement cutting edge technologies and techniques related to product prototyping and manufacturing nnPreferred candidate profile .
