As an HR Operations Service Specialist I in the Employee Lifecycle Management team at Hitachi Energy, your role will involve managing end-to-end employee lifecycle transactions to ensure accurate master data, smooth HiNext processes, and high-quality HR service delivery. You will play a crucial part in maintaining data integrity, compliance, and a seamless employee experience while collaborating with global stakeholders.Key Responsibilities:- Manage employee master data transactions in HiNext (Workday) throughout the employee lifecycle, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.- Review and validate data updates submitted by stakeholders for completeness, correctness, and policy compliance.- Process key employee data changes such as personal details, bank and payment updates, job and organizational changes, supervisory structure updates, and transfers.- Handle employee lifecycle requests through MyHR and ticketing systems for efficient service delivery.- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in adherence to company policies and regulations.- Perform regular data validation and audits to ensure high data quality, identifying and resolving discrepancies proactively.- Adhere to defined SOPs, SLAs, and internal controls to support audit and compliance requirements.- Provide support for Employee Self-Service (ESS) and Manager Self-Service (MSS) queries to enhance user experience.- Act as the primary contact for employee and manager queries related to master data and lifecycle processes.- Collaborate with various teams to ensure timely resolution of requests and issues, delivering accurate and timely resolutions.- Identify process improvement opportunities, simplification, and automation to enhance efficiency and employee experience.- Participate in quality initiatives, audits,
and knowledge-sharing activities for continuous improvement.- Generate reports and conduct ad-hoc data analysis to monitor and enhance data quality.- Ensure compliance with external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines while upholding Hitachi Energys core values.Qualifications Required:- Bachelors degree in any discipline.- 23 years of experience in HR Operations, Shared Services, or data management roles.- Willingness to work in a night shift (5:30 PM 2:30 AM) in an office-based environment.- Prior experience with Workday (HiNext) and ServiceNow is advantageous.- Good understanding of HR Operations and end-to-end employee lifecycle processes, preferably in the US region.- Proficient in MS Office tools with strong written and verbal communication skills.- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines consistently.- Quick learner with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.- Solid problem-solving skills and a can-do attitude to support stakeholders.Please note that accommodation requests for individuals with disabilities can be made by completing a general inquiry form on the Hitachi Energy website.
