The firm manages the Ekamya Pragati Fund, a Category I AIF (SME) registered with SEBI (IN/AIF1/24-25/1768), and offers tailored solutions supporting companies from early-stage growth through IPO and beyond.We are now launching a new Category II AIF, and this role will lead it from the ground up.The RoleThe Fund Manager will own the fund end-to-end: investment strategy, evaluation, execution, and portfolio performance. This is a founding-team position on a fund being built from scratch, so the mandate spans origination through exit and involves building systems as you go.Location: Magnum Global Park, Sector 58, Gurugram, Haryana. This is an in-person role. We expect the person to be in the office on all working days. We have a solid preference for candidates residing close to our office location.Key Responsibilities1. Deal Sourcing and Investment EvaluationBuild and manage a proprietary deal pipeline across the fund's target sectors and stages through direct origination, intermediary networks, and founder and promoter relationshipsScreen inbound and sourced opportunities against the fund's investment thesis, sector focus, and return hurdlesPrepare first-cut evaluation notes and recommend which opportunities proceed to full diligence2. Financial Modelling and ValuationBuild and stress-test financial models covering unit economics, cash flow, and return waterfallsApply appropriate valuation methodologies (DCF, comparable company and transaction multiples, precedent transactions) by asset stage and sectorDevelop entry and exit scenarios and sensitivity analyses to support Investment Committee decisions3.



Due Diligence and Transaction ExecutionLead end-to-end diligence across commercial, financial, legal, and management workstreams, coordinating external advisers as neededDraft Investment Committee memos with clear theses, risk flags, and recommendationsNegotiate term sheets and definitive agreements and manage transactions through to financial close4. Portfolio Monitoring and Value CreationTrack portfolio company performance against thesis and financial covenants and maintain a live portfolio dashboardEngage with management teams and boards on strategy, governance, and growthDrive value-creation levers including follow-on financing, strategic partnerships, and operational improvementsFlag early-warning signals and lead remediation or exit planning where required5. Portfolio Construction and Asset AllocationOptimise allocation across the fund in line with mandate and risk-return objectivesAssess risk-return profiles at both position and portfolio levelInterpret financial statements, industry trends, and macroeconomic data to inform positioning6. Investor Relations and FundraisingSupport the partners in raising the fund's target corpus by building LP pipelines, preparing collateral, and driving investor meetingsPrepare and present portfolio and fund performance updates to existing and prospective LPsContribute to pitch decks, PPM inputs, factsheets, and other investor-facing materials with SEBI-compliant marketing language7.
