Job Description: Production SupervisorCompany: Narayan Powertech – Standex ElectronicsLocation: Luna – Padra, Vadodara, GujaratDepartment: Production / ManufacturingReports To: Production Manager / Plant HeadNote: This role has to work in shiftsKey Responsibilities:Production ManagementSupervise daily production operations and ensure achievement of production plans.Monitor work progress and machine utilization to maximize productivity.Coordinate with Planning, Quality, Purchase, and Stores departments for smooth production flow.Ensure timely completion of production orders and dispatch commitments.Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce wastage.Manpower ManagementAllocate work to operators and technicians based on skill and workload.Monitor workforce attendance, discipline, and productivity.Train and guide production employees on work procedures and safety practices.Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback.Quality ManagementEnsure products are manufactured according to approved specifications and quality standards.Coordinate with Quality Control team for inspections and corrective actions.Reduce rework, rejection, and customer complaints through process control.Safety & ComplianceEnsure adherence to all safety regulations, PPE requirements,



and company policies.Conduct shop floor safety inspections and toolbox talks.Report and investigate production-related incidents and near misses.Inventory & Resource ControlMonitor raw material consumption and reduce wastage.Coordinate with Stores department for material availability.Maintain production records, reports, and documentation.Reporting & Continuous ImprovementPrepare daily production reports and KPI dashboards.Analyze production data and suggest corrective actions.Participate in lean manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives.Required Qualifications:Full-Time Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Production, Industrial Engineering, or related field.3 to 7+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.Experience in supervising production teams and shop floor operations.Knowledge of production planning, quality systems, and safety standards.Knowledge of 5S, Kaizen, continuous improvement activities or similar conceptsRequired Skills:Leadership and team management.Production planning and scheduling.Problem-solving and decision-making.Knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems.Positive communication and interpersonal skills.Understanding of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and Kaizen methodologiesLooking forward to seeing you and wish you all the best for you to achieve this endeavor at “Standex Electronics - Narayan Powertech Private Limited”Regards,Preeti Arya -
