Videographer – 6-Month Contract (IIT Hyderabad)

About the Role

Crimson Energy Experts Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a skilled and hands-on Videographer for a 6-month contractual assignment at IIT Hyderabad. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about visual storytelling and experienced in managing the complete on-ground video production process from camera operation and lighting to professional audio capture.

The ideal candidate should be capable of working independently, handling qualified production equipment, and delivering high-quality footage in dynamic shooting environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate professional video cameras, ensuring proper framing, composition, focus, exposure, and camera settings.
- Plan and execute lighting setups suited to different indoor and outdoor shooting conditions.
- Set up and manage qualified audio recording equipment, including wired and wireless microphones.
- Independently handle camera, lighting, and audio equipment during production.
- Troubleshoot basic technical issues related to cameras, lenses, lighting, and sound equipment.
- Ensure all recorded footage is properly backed up, organized, and archived after every shoot.
- Maintain production equipment and ensure it is kept in excellent working condition.
- Adapt to a variety of shooting environments,



production requirements, and schedules while maintaining high production standards.

Required Qualifications

Proven qualified experience as a Videographer, Camera Operator, or Cinematographer.

Strong hands-on experience with professional cameras, lenses, and camera accessories.

Good understanding of cinematography fundamentals, including composition, framing, exposure, focus, and camera movement.

Practical experience with professional lighting equipment and lighting techniques.

Experience using professional audio recording equipment and microphones.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing production equipment on location.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Engagement Details

Contract Duration: 6 Months

Location: IIT Hyderabad, Hyderabad

Employment Type: Full-Time Contract

Upon successful completion of the project, high-performing candidates may be offered an opportunity to relocate to Bangalore and join our in-house studio team on a long-term basis.

Compensation

₹35,000 – ₹40,000 per month

Compensation will be based on the candidate's experience, technical expertise, and overall suitability for the role.
