The Role:

Tax Filing and Reporting Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Tax Compliance Management: Oversee the preparation and timely filing of federal, state, and local tax returns, ensuring compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations.

Tax Reporting: Manage the accurate reporting of all tax-related information, including the preparation and review of quarterly and annual tax provisions, and ensure compliance with accounting standards such as ASC 740

Audit Coordination: Manage federal income tax audits and certain state income tax audits as required, providing necessary documentation and support to auditors.

Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of tax filing and reporting functions.

Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and professional development.

Skills Required:

Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in tax preparation and reporting software; advanced skills in Microsoft Excel are essential.

Analytical Skills:



Strong analytical abilities to interpret complex tax regulations and financial data, ensuring accurate tax filings and reports.

Attention to Detail: High accuracy and attention to detail in tax preparation and reporting.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with team members, management, and external parties.

This role is essential for maintaining compliance with tax laws and regulations, requiring a blend of technical tax expertise, analytical abilities, and leadership skills.

Qualifications &Experience;:

Educational Background: Qualified accountant – CA

Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience in tax reporting and compliance, with a robust

understanding of federal and state tax regulations. Must have working exposure to onshore geographies.
