Team Lead Canada Accounts Tax Work Mode Work From Home WFH Experience 5 Years Qualification Bachelors Masters in Accounting Preferred CA CA Inter CPA Position Overview We are looking for an experienced Team Lead Canada Accounts Tax to manage and oversee accounting and taxation operations for Canadabased clients The ideal candidate should have strong handson experience in Canadian Accounting Taxation along with proven team management and clienthandling skills Key Responsibilities Technical Accounting Operations Manage monthend and yearend closing activities Perform bank and account reconciliations Prepare and review monthly and annual financial statements Handle payroll processing payroll accounting and compliance Manage multiple client engagements and ensure timely delivery of quality outputs Prepare and manage GST HST filings Handle T1 and T2 tax forms and related compliance activities Review bookkeeping accounting and taxation work prepared by the team Client Management Communicate directly with Canadian CPA firms and end clients Manage client relationships and resolve accounting taxrelated queries Review monthly and annual bookkeeping accounting projects Review compliance and tax projects Ensure timely completion of assignments and reprioritize tasks based on client requirements Team Leadership Lead supervise and mentor the accounting and tax team Monitor team performance productivity and quality of deliverables Allocate work and ensure timely completion of assignments Motivate team members and maintain a positive collaborative work environment Support employee development and help control attrition Required Skills Experience 5 years of relevant experience in Canadian Accounting Taxation Strong handson knowledge of Canadian accounting taxation and payroll Prior experience in team handling team leadership Strong clientfacing and communication skills Experience working with Canadian CPA firms or Canadabased clients is highly preferred Positive understanding of accrual and cashbasis accounting Experience in financial statement preparation reconciliations and yearend engagements Technical Skills Accounting Software QBO QBD Xero Dext Hubdoc Wagepoint Payworks Caseware Profile CCH Taxprep Advanced Excel VLOOKUP HLOOKUP Pivot Tables Accounting Reporting Monthly YearEnd Financial Statements Bank Account Reconciliations Accrual Cash Basis Accounting YearEnd Compilation Engagements Review Engagements Audit Engagements Canadian Tax Payroll GST QST HST T1 T2 T3 T5013 T3010 PD7A T4 T4A T5 Payroll Processing Remittances Industry Exposure Experience handling accounting and taxation requirements across multiple industries will be preferred Ideal Candidate A candidate with 5 years of Canadian Accounting Tax experience current recent Team Lead experience strong knowledge of T1 T2 GST HST and Canadian payroll and direct experience handling Canadian clients CPA firms
