We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Designer specializing in Bridges and Structures to join our Transportation team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on global, high-profile projects, leveraging cutting-edge BIM and CAD technologies to deliver cutting-edge and sustainable solutions.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Design & Modelling:
- Undertake structural modelling and detailing on global projects using REVIT & AutoCAD.
- Develop bridge models in Revit from scratch
Prepare bridge drawings in AutoCAD.
- Create and edit drawings and sketches in compliance with AECOM standards.
- Develop RC intent drawings and modify 3D BIM models for federated model development.
Quality Assurance:
- Review and monitor the production of drawings to maintain quality and accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, including ISO 19650 or COBie.
Client Interaction:
- Maintain regular communication with lead regions, and projects lead to understand requirements and ensure timely delivery.
Team Collaboration:
- Liaise with team managers to stay informed on project developments.
- Provide guidance to the project team, fostering a qualitative and client-focused culture.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Familiarity with ISO 19650 or COBie standards is highly desirable.
