Job Purpose
As the TTR Reg Change Test Analyst you will be responsible for implementing the TTR programme test strategy at project
level. Test Analyst will work within projects that are typically required to be delivered to a fixed regulatory compliance date
that often necessitates test approach & schedule whilst regulatory requirements remain draft, and a level of ambiguity still
exists.
You will be familiar with global regulatory regulations and have extensive testing experience, working closely with
internationally based colleagues across MSS Business, Regulatory Change, Technology, Operations, Regulatory Compliance,
and other areas critical to delivery.
You will have comprehensive and proven Test Management skills that can be readily adapted to operate within the change
framework and ways of working, as well as aligning to the overall business strategy. Writing Test Cases, test execution, test
reporting, raising defects will be second nature to you, and you will be able to leverage these skills to efficiently satisfy
programme demand.
The key responsibilities include: -
Review the test approach detailing UAT testing scope, test schedule, Entry & Exit criteria. Getting buy-in / sign offs on
the test approach from the wider group including project manager, business analyst, IT, operations, regulatory risk
and compliance.
Preparing test cases based on the requirements using Jira as test repository.
Test Execution of the test cases, reviewing results with the BA / Operations team. Recording & capturing evidence in
Jira.
Raising Defects for issues identified during test execution, supporting defect resolution & retest.
Test Reporting & providing updates in the testing stand up & meetings.
Ensuring the delivery of the test workstream within TTR projects. Raising any RAID items to Test Lead / Test Manager.
Escalate any blockers to the testing progress to Test Lead / Test manager.
Actively supports and manage testing deliveries using tools like Jira,
Confluence, etc...
Track testing schedule, test execution progress against the schedule using Jira dashboards etc.
Communicate testing progress / status to the wider project team.
Principal Accountabilities: key activities and decision-making areas
Implements a consistent test approach across the projects assigned to them within the programme.
Supports consistently tracking metrics and measurements to drive on time delivery and adherence to budget within
the testing team.
Anticipates and identifies existing or emerging risks/issues. Supports the resolution of RAID items alongside project and
programme management.
Collaborates with Test / Project Manager to ensure testing updates are communicated to working groups and
associated forums as part of the programme / project governance.
Collaborates with the TTR Test Manager to document testing entry & exit criteria for the project deliverables.
Influences and collaborates with key stakeholders and business partners, building robust relationships to ensure
consensus and the best testing outcomes.
Leadership & Teamwork
Acts as a testing champion within the project and wider TTR team.
Drives a performance management based culture to improve and drive efficiencies and performance including the
effective management of underperformers.
Able to work in effective global and multi-disciplinary teams.
Promotes the Group s Values and strategy by creating a positive work environment and promoting teamwork to drive
team engagement.
Operational Effectiveness & Control
Identifies and reports risks, issues and dependencies, promoting good risk management across the project.
Maintains tight scope control across the project, ensuring any changes to baseline are managed through the change
request process.
Promotes and takes accountability for quality of UAT testing and identifies opportunities to improve quality assurance.
Contributes to project status reports and ensures all aspects of project testing are being managed effectivel
