About the Role:
We are looking for a Assistant Manager - Treasury to manage the organisations treasury operations, liquidity, banking relationships, payment processes, and working capital requirements. The role will be responsible for ensuring efficient cash management, timely payments, robust banking operations, accurate reconciliations, and compliance with applicable policies and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage completely the payments of the organisation (accounts payable)
- Manage daily cash flow and liquidity requirements.
- Prepare and monitor short-term and long-term cash flow forecasts.
- Build and maintain relationships with banks and financial institutions.
- Handle banking operations, loan documentation, and bank compliance requirements.
- Manage sanction, renewal, and servicing of working capital facilities, overdrafts, and term loans.
- Review and approve payment releases based on cash flow availability and business priorities.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of outstanding items.
- Manage finance lease and operating lease accounting, along with loan accounting.
- Coordinate with statutory and internal auditors for treasury-related matters.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, banking regulations, and applicable accounting standards.
- Lead and mentor a team of 4–5 members, ensuring timely execution of treasury activities and team development.
- Control bank reconciliations and ensure funds / payments are accounted properly.
Qualification & Experience:
- Chartered Accountant (CA) – Mandatory
- 4–7 years of relevant experience in treasury and banking operations.
- Strong understanding of treasury operations, banking products, and cash flow management.
- Knowledge of loan accounting and lease accounting.
- Valuable analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365).
