Role Description The MRI Service Engineer role is a full-time, in office position based in Ahmedabad. The MRI Service Engineer will perform routine and preventive maintenance on MRI equipment, ensuring optimal performance, safety, and compliance with manufacturer and regulatory standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include diagnosing technical issues, troubleshooting hardware and software faults, performing repairs and adjustments, and documenting service activities. The role involves providing timely field service support to healthcare facilities, coordinating with vendors and internal teams for parts and technical guidance,



and offering clear technical explanations to clinical staff. The MRI Service Engineer will also support equipment installation, calibration, and upgrades, while maintaining high standards of customer service and professionalism.
Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills for MRI and related medical imaging equipment.
- Candidates should possess Maintenance & Repair capabilities, including preventive maintenance, component replacement, and system calibration.
- Candidates should possess Field Service experience, including on-site visits, service reporting, and coordination with hospitals or diagnostic centers.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for interacting with clinical teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Prior experience servicing MRI or other advanced medical imaging systems is highly beneficial.
- Knowledge of safety standards, regulatory requirements, and medical device compliance practices.
- Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and service documentation, and to work independently in field environments.
- Willingness to work flexible hours as required for emergency service calls and critical equipment downtime.
