Senior .NET Developer (C# / .NET Core)

Location: India (Remote anywhere in India)

Experience: 6-8 Years minimum. This role requires high-level hands-on development experience

Position Overview

BCI is seeking a highly skilled hands-on Senior .NET Developer to join our engineering team and play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend applications and APIs for our direct USA based client. The ideal candidate will have robust expertise in C#, .NET Core, cloud-native development on AWS, modern software design principles, and automated testing practices. Must be able to work a blended hours schedule of EST and IST timings.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain robust backend applications and RESTful APIs using C# and .NET Core.
- Implement scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions following industry best practices.
- Apply SOLID principles, design patterns, and clean architecture methodologies.
- Develop efficient data access layers using Entity Framework and ORM frameworks.
- Work with relational and NoSQL databases including PostgreSQL, SQL Server, DynamoDB, and Redis.
- Build and optimize distributed and event-driven applications leveraging AWS services.
- Develop comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
- Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including architects, DevOps engineers, product owners, and QA teams.





Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Expertise

- 6-8 years of experience in backend application development using C# and .NET Core/.NET 6+.
- Strong understanding of:
- RESTful API development and security
- Object-Oriented Design (OOD)
- Design Patterns and SOLID Principles
- Task Parallel Library (TPL) and asynchronous programming
- Entity Framework and ORM technologies

Database Technologies

- PostgreSQL
- Microsoft SQL Server
- Database design, optimization, and performance tuning

Testing & Quality

- Experience with:
- xUnit
- NUnit
- Moq
- Strong focus on automated testing and code quality.

AWS Cloud Experience

Hands-on experience with:

- AWS Lambda
- Amazon SQS
- AWS Batch
- Amazon DynamoDB
- Amazon RDS
- Amazon ElastiCache (Redis)
- Amazon CloudWatch

Development Tools

- Git
- SonarLint
- DotCover
- ReSharper
- CI/CD pipelines (Bamboo preferred)

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with AI-powered development tools such as:
- GitHub Copilot
- Cursor
- Kiro
- Similar AI-assisted coding platforms
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
