1. Project Tracking: Identify and map upcoming and ongoing infrastructure projects (e.g., NHIDCL, BRO, PWD, Northeast Frontier Railway, builders , contractors etc across North East India.
2. Lead Generation: Proactively approach Project Managers, Principal Architects, Structural Engineers, and Procurement Heads to position the organization as their preferred cement supplier.
3. Tender Management: Assist in BOQ (Bill of Quantities) preparation, submit technical bids, and negotiate annual rate contracts for large institutional buyers.
4. Relationship Building: Cultivate long-term, high-value relationships with Top-Tier contractors, builders, and structural consultants.
5. Receivables Management: Oversee the timely collection of payments, manage outstanding dues,
and ensure the collection of necessary tax documentation and guarantor letters to maintain healthy credit cycles.
6. Logistics Coordination: Collaborate tightly with the supply chain team to ensure uninterrupted material delivery to remote, hard-to-reach project sites, proactively planning around monsoon seasons and terrain constraints.
Preferred candidate profile
5 to 10 years of proven Project Sales/B2B/institutional sales experience in Cement, Steel, RMC (Ready Mix Concrete), or Construction Chemicals or Paints Industry. Deep understanding of the Northeast Indian market terrain, local business dynamics, and the major infrastructure players operating in the region.
