About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and dynamic Purchase Engineer to join our Supply Chain team. In this role, you will manage the procurement of Direct and Indirect Materials and Services, coordinate with suppliers, handle RFQ management, process purchase orders, and ensure the timely availability of materials required for manufacturing operations.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams including Production, Planning, Engineering, Quality, Finance, and Stores to support business objectives through productive sourcing and procurement practices.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement & Sourcing
- Handle procurement activities for Direct Materials, Indirect Materials, Consumables, Packaging Materials, Services, and CAPEX requirements.
- Float RFQs, collect quotations, perform commercial comparisons,



and prepare recommendation summaries.
- Negotiate prices, delivery schedules, and commercial terms with suppliers.
- Create and release Purchase Orders (POs) in the ERP system based on approved requisitions and material planning requirements.
- Follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery and resolve supply-related issues.

Supplier Management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and new suppliers.
- Support supplier identification, evaluation, and onboarding activities.
- Monitor supplier performance on cost, quality, and delivery parameters.
- Coordinate with suppliers for compliance documents such as RoHS, REACH, BIS, and other statutory requirements.

Inventory & Coordination
- Work closely with Planning and Stores teams to ensure optimum inventory levels.
