We are seeking a proactive Chartered Accountant (qualified or semiqualified) to lead finance operations, ensure accounting accuracy, support tax research and compliance, manage client relationships, and champion AI-enabled tools across the firm. The ideal candidate combines robust technical accounting/tax skills with team leadership, client-facing experience, and practical knowledge of AI tools for finance.

Key Responsibilities
Team performance and people management
Lead, coach, and evaluate a team of accountants/AEs; set performance goals and conduct periodic reviews.
Allocate resources, monitor workloads, and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
Manage leave approvals, attendance tracking, and escalate staffing issues.
Accounting review and controls
Review books of account, ledgers, reconciliations, and monthend / quarterend / yearend closing activities.
Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable accounting standards and internal policies.
Identify and recommend process improvements and internal control enhancements.




Taxation research and compliance
Research complex tax issues, interpret statutes, circulars, and case law; provide actionable guidance to the team and clients.
Oversee tax computations, filings, and timelines; coordinate with external tax advisors where required.
Client relationship management
Act as primary contact for assigned clients; build and maintain trust through timely communication and high-quality deliverables.
Understand clients business needs, recommend value-added services, and manage client expectations.
Partner representation
Represent partners on matters of finance, compliance, and client engagements when required.
Prepare briefs and status updates for partners and participate in partner-client discussions.
AI adoption and oversight
Possess requisite knowledge of AI tools applicable to accounting, tax research, document automation, and analytics.
