Technical Sales Support
Support the preparation of technical submissions for enquiries, tenders, RFQs, and RFPs.
Maintain records of technical proposals, specifications, and customer correspondence.
Participate in technical discussions with customers to understand project requirements and recommend suitable technical solutions.
Provide technical presentations and product demonstrations whenever required.
Evaluate products, systems, and engineering solutions to meet customer and project requirements.
Recommend technically and commercially viable alternatives in consultation with the Head Technical Sales.
Product Identification & Technical Evaluation
Assist in identifying products and solutions that meet customer requirements.
Support the evaluation of alternative products or customized solutions where standard products are not available.
Collect technical information and supporting documents from manufacturers and suppliers for evaluation.
Coordination with Manufacturers & Vendors
Coordinate with manufacturers and vendors to obtain technical specifications, drawings, catalogues, compliance certificates, and quotations.
Follow up with suppliers for timely submission of technical and commercial information.
Maintain updated technical information on approved products and suppliers.
Technical Costing Support
Assist in preparing technical costing, particularly for mechanical and engineering components.
Coordinate with suppliers and internal departments to obtain cost inputs required for quotation preparation.
Support the commercial team by providing technical inputs during costing exercises.
Preparation of Technical Specifications
Assist in preparing technical specifications, compliance statements, and neutral specifications.
Verify technical data received from manufacturers before inclusion in customer submissions.
Ensure all technical documents are complete, accurate, and consistent.
