We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer experienced in precision engineering for rugged defence applications.
Key Responsibilities
Design precision mechanical assemblies for electro-optical systems.
Develop ruggedized enclosures and mounting mechanisms.
Create detailed manufacturing drawings and GD&T; documentation.
Coordinate with vendors for machining, fabrication, and production.
Perform tolerance analysis and design validation.
Support prototype assembly, testing, and qualification.
Work closely with optics and electronics teams for system integration.
Desired Skills
Robust proficiency in SolidWorks, Creo, or similar 3D CAD software.
Experience in precision machining and sheet metal components.
Knowledge of environmental sealing, vibration, shock, and thermal design.
Understanding of defence standards and manufacturing processes.
Positive knowledge of GD&T; and production engineering.
