We are the development center for Sber's India branch.

You have a unique prospect to participate in building an Automated Banking System (ABS) for Sber's India branch from scratch.

The system consists of a set of modules - core, accounting, reporting, credit and non-credit products, internet banking and anti-fraud system. You can directly participate in the creation of any of them, influence the architecture, the quality, the processes, the way they should look in the end.

Our pros are no legacy, no complicated, hardened processes, modern technology.

Our goal is to make our own, small Sber for the foreign market.

Part of the team is in Russia, part in India, a excellent opportunity to work in an international team

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Data Scientist to join our AI/Data Science division at Sberbank in Bengaluru. In this role, you will harness the power of data to drive strategic initiatives and shape our corporate business strategies.
Responsibilities




Develop and implement analytical models for a variety of purposes, including lead generation, product recommendation, customer segmentation, and price modeling
Conduct in-depth data analysis to uncover trends and insights, informing strategic decisions and business development
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate analytics into comprehensive business solutions, enhancing customer experience and operational efficiency
Design and execute AB tests to evaluate model performance and guide continuous improvement.
Candidate Expectations
Demonstrated experience in data science or analytics, with a focus on practical business applications
Proficiency in statistical analysis, machine learning algorithms, and data visualization
Solid skills in Python and familiarity with key libraries (Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, Matplotlib)
