Role Overview
We are looking for a Chief Business Officer to lead Ghar Soaps next phase of commercial growth, with primary ownership of revenue, offline sales, distribution and exports. The role will be responsible for building a scalable go-to-market engine across General Trade, Contemporary Trade, institutional channels and international markets, while driving profitable growth and expanding the brands footprint.
Key Responsibilities
Revenue & Business Growth
Own the overall revenue, sales and profitability agenda for the business.
Define and execute the commercial growth strategy across domestic and international markets.
Identify recent revenue pools, markets and channels to accelerate business growth.
Offline Sales & Distribution
Build and scale the General Trade, Up-to-date Trade, institutional and other offline channels.
Develop a strong distributor and sales network, driving distribution, numeric/weighted reach and productivity.
Strengthen channel strategy, trade investments, salesforce effectiveness and market execution.
Exports & International Expansion
Develop and lead the international business and export strategy across priority markets.
Identify distributors, partners and market-entry opportunities to establish Ghar Soaps internationally.
Build a sustainable export business with ownership of revenue, margins and market development.
Commercial Strategy & Market Expansion
Identify recent categories, channels, geographies and partnerships that can create meaningful growth.
Drive portfolio and channel strategies based on market, consumer and competitive insights.
Partner with the Co-Founder to shape the long-term commercial strategy and scale-up roadmap.
Desired Candidate Profile
1218 years of experience across FMCG, personal care, beauty or consumer businesses, with strong sales and P&L; ownership.
Proven track record of scaling offline businesses across GT, MT and other channels, preferably in a high-growth environment.
