Baristas greet customers, understand their preferences, and create a fun experience. They may also remember customers' drinks and create playlists.
Taking orders and payment
Baristas process orders from the counter, drive-through, and online. They may also operate cash registers and record sales.
Cleaning and stocking
Baristas clean and sanitize equipment, utensils, and work areas. They may also restock supplies and deep clean machines.
Maintaining knowledge
Baristas develop an expert knowledge of coffee and educate customers about it. They may also sell coffee and coffee-related equipment and supplies.
Following guidelines
Baristas follow health and safety guidelines and adhere to cash handling policies.
