Role Summary: Looking for a RF Hardware Engineer to work on 4G/5G femtocell and outdoor small cell products. The role requires solid hands-on expertise in RF design, validation, and troubleshooting, with the ability to independently drive deliverables and contribute from day one.
Key Responsibilities:
Work as a core member of the Small Cells HW engineering team
Support design, validation, and sustaining engineering for RF hardware
Collaborate with ODMs on new product development and platform enhancements
Perform RF bring-up, debugging, and design verification testing
Analyze and resolve RF, digital, and power-related field issues
Review schematics, layouts, antenna integration, and factory test results
Work with:
Qualcomm / chipset teams (L1 / calibration)
Nokia SW / Test teams for HW-SW integration
Support regulatory certification (FCC, CE, etc.) and compliance testing
Required Skills:
Robust experience in RF hardware design validation
Hands-on experience with small cells / femtocell / outdoor radio systems
Expertise in:
RF frontend (PA, filters,
RF line-up)
Debugging and performance optimization
Experience with RF test equipment (Keysight, Rohde Schwarz)
Solid understanding of 4G LTE / 5G NR systems and PHY concepts
Experience in RF calibration and hardware bring-up
Preferred Skills:
Experience in high-power RF / outdoor small cell products
Exposure to regulatory compliance testing (FCC, CE, regional standards)
Knowledge of global bands (e.g., C-band, N77/N79)
Experience working with ODM partners and product lifecycle teams
Key Expectations:
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
Capability to contribute immediately in lab + system integration setting
Effective collaboration with cross-functional global teams
