Job Purpose:
To achieve sales targets, manage the assigned territory, develop business, and effectively supervise and support the field sales team.

Key Responsibilities
Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets for the assigned territory.
Develop and maintain relationships with doctors, chemists, stockists, distributors and key customers.
Plan and execute doctor/chemist calls and territory coverage as per company norms.
Ensure effective promotion and detailing of company products.
Appoint, develop and manage stockists/distributors in the assigned area.
Monitor product availability, secondary sales and stock movement.
Supervise, guide and review the performance of Medical Representatives/Sales Representatives.
Conduct regular field visits and joint working with team members.
Monitor competitor activities, market trends and customer feedback.
Ensure timely submission of daily/monthly sales reports, tour plans and expense statements.
Control sales expenses within the approved company budget.
Follow all company sales policies,



reporting procedures and ethical marketing practices.
Coordinate with Head Office, Accounts, Logistics and other departments for sales and operational requirements.
Ensure timely collection of outstanding payments as per company policy.
Identify current business prospects and expand the assigned territory.

Qualification & Experience
Graduate; B.Sc./B.Pharm/BBA/MBA (Sales & Marketing) preferred.
2–5 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales.
Experience in handling a sales team/territory preferred.
